With summer nearly here, ancient Glucon-D (Glucose powder) ads of the sun sucking energy and water with a straw comes to mind. Feeling thirsty, dizziness, headaches are few symptoms of dehydration, which can worsen in the hotter months. Hoping for normalcy, one cannot shelve summer plans into isolation. In order to have a “hot girl summer” we must take care of our health!

Drinking water is of course one of the best ways to stay hydrated, and so is eating fruits that are high in water and nutrients that are sucked out by the Glucose sun. Adding these fruits to your summer diet can result in healthier skin, healthier body and refreshing snacks.

They contain a water content of 92%, and is the probably the fruit associated the most with summer and hydration. Watermelons are low in calories and contain powerful antioxidants. It can be consumed as sliced fruit directly or in salads.

2. Cucumbers

They contain a water content percentage of 95, and are also well known for their hydrating properties. Cucumbers are multi purpose fruits as they can be used for skincare as well as consumption. 4. Grapefruits

They can be consumed as lemon juice in the form of lemonade or as an additional flavouring.
