It takes enormous strength to commit suicide. A 16-year old from Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal commits suicide leaving an 18-page suicide note.
In the suicide note, she mentioned her will to meet the Prime Minister and address all the issues related to the environmental degradation due to pollution and deforestation and also wanted to urge to ban crackers in the country.
She mentioned other issues happening in the country like the rising population and corruption where she addressed the PM to check on them. She shot herself dead as she was stressed out because of these issues and wanted to raise a concern.
The note recovered left the members of her family, friends, and police in shock. The teen was very much concerned about the environmental issues and also wanted to ban products that are chemical-based which harm the environment like the colors used for the festival Holi and crackers for Diwali.
The teen was stressed and had taken this step so that she could gain attention and her concern will be acknowledged. But it would have been better if the girl would have fought by trying various ways instead of sacrificing her life.
This can also be taken into consideration that the girl was undergoing a Psychological treatment and the decision would have been either instinctive or the stress must have consumed her for a long time.
But it is also clearly evident that the teen at a very young age was very much affected due to all the social evils and was unable to cope up with it and had taken a step to seek the attention of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi so that he raises a concern.
Finally, we all can come to one conclusion that suicide is not a solution nor a way out though it catches attention. Instead, be positive and strive for betterment.
